Known as 'Capoterra' to the Wayuu artisans. The Capoterra bag was traditionally used as a travel bag by the Wayuu community for its spaciousness, lightness and because it is easy to wear.
We work directly with our team of artisans in the northeast region of La Guajira in Colombia. Together we create one-of-a-kind, made-by-hand handbags with essence and history. Our team is using their own techniques that have been passed down through the generations. This creates a continuous positive impact on the communities whose livelihoods depend on their art of working.
